Mohamed Youssef<\/h3>\n

From Luxor on the Nile, Egypt<\/h4>\n

Born in 1972 as the son of an imam, lives in Luxor. Worked on a felucca (small sailing boat) by the age of 13, ferrying tourists around. At 15 he bought his own felucca and regularly sailed with tourists from Luxor to Aswan and back.<\/p>\n

Always wanted to have my own Dahabeya<\/a>. At 24 he moved to England, where he took English classes and held various jobs. He received British citizenship at the age of 27. At 32 he returned to Luxor, where he married and started a family.<\/p>\n

He now has four children between the ages of five and 14. In 2008 he built his first small four-cabin Dahabeya. He also got into the alabaster business and today owns his own elegant shop with exquisite pieces.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Katharina N\u00e9meth<\/h3>\n

From Basel am Rhein, Switzerland<\/h4>\n

Born in 1966, lives mostly in Basel. Globetrotter, interior designer, academic psychotherapist in her own practice. Temporarily worked as a diving instructor in Asia and Egypt.<\/p>\n

Own apartment in Hurghada since 2010, learned the Arabic language to get closer to the population. Thanks to Egyptian friends, she immersed herself in their culture and life. Mohamed infected her with his dream of building her own Nile Cruise Ship.<\/p>\n

Their strengths lie in their eye for detail, high standards of impeccable service and cleanliness, and traditional, upscale cuisine.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
